Cape Fear Community College will host a series of free informational forums at the eighth annual "Sex Matters" event on Tuesday, April 5, at the downtown Wilmington Campus, Union Station Auditorium (Room U-170).
According to event coordinator Bethaney Ferguson, the goal of the event is to communicate the necessity of taking personal responsibility for sexual health and decisions. This event will focus on dispelling myths about sexually transmitted diseases as well as offering practical information regarding birth control, sexual assault, and prevention, testing and treatment of STIs.
